The registry editor allows access to the nuts and bolts of Windows' configuration and can cause significant damage if used incorrectly.
Open the Registry Editor
- Click start
- Click run
- If you don't have the run option, hold down the Windows key on your keyboard and press the r key.
- Type regedit
- Click OK
- The Windows Registry editor will open.
