Overview

The purpose of this helpsheet is to show you how to set network settings manually on the Microsoft Windows Pocket PC OS. Don't read this guide if you want to setup networking in Microsoft Windows - it won't help you.

This guide should give you a clear understanding of what to do - somethings may look different to your Pocket PC installation - my theme for example is green in these screenshots, yours may be blue...

Instructions

1. Click Start
2. Click Settings
3. Click connections (tab)
4. Click network cards and then the network adapters tab
5. Click on the desired network card, to use a specific IP click the radio button (the small circle) and then type in the relevant details.
6. Click name servers tab and type in the relevant details.

Click the OK button in the top right of the screen, you'll be told the settings will be applied the next time the adapter is used. OK this, if you're using the adapter at the moment you'll need to restart the adapter. All done!
