Kontiki is the peer to peer delivery method used for BBC's iPlayer and Channel 4's 4oD and is automatically installed by these programs.

Processes

Kontiki will install and run the kservice.exe process upon Windows startup by default.

Removal

Removal of Kontiki should be via the uninstallation of the relevant iPlayer / 4oD products. If this fails to remove Kontiki then it can also be removed from Add/Remove Programs (XP and before) or Programs and Features (Windows Vista).
